Join the PSQ and celebrated pianist Laura Kargul, at the beautiful and timeless Little White Church in Eaton, New Hampshire. The program will begin with Beethoven’s Serenade for String Trio in D Major, a lighthearted and delectable first course for an afternoon of chamber music. You may even recognize one of Beethoven's most favored rhythmic motifs (short-short-short-long, as in his Fifth Symphony) in the first and last movements, March.
The celebrated Piano Quartet No.3 in C minor claims the performance's second half and contains everything you could wish for in a Brahms composition; harmonic plot twists, unrequited love, and mercurial, dark humor. The PSQ & Kargul collaboration is bound to bring out the best of Beethoven and Brahms, don't miss your chance to see (and hear) this musical partnership!
